Electric Guitar - Muddy

Muddy’s a guy you don’t want to mess with...

He seems tough, but we know deep down inside he’s got all of our best interests at heart.

He was hand crafted from aged Australian timbers that were recycled from antique iconic Queenslander homes.

Since the recycled timbers used to craft him don’t come with leaves or bark (the usual method of identifying a species) it is hard to say for certain what timbers he has in him. His solid body is recycled Australian hardwood, and due to him being so naturally red in colour we think he is of the bloodwood variety, which has been finished perfectly with a smoky tobacco brown burst. His timber is extremely dense, which makes for great sustain, stability and strength.
His design was inspired by the traditional hollow body electric guitars, which means he has both hollow and solid body tonal characteristics. His open chambered back design, which has taken away material from the more resonant parts of the guitar further bridges the gap between hollow body and solid body in tonal qualities.

His maple neck and rosewood fingerboard are second’s timber from the off-cuts of other guitars, by using these timbers in his production he has saved a lot of trees. He features high-end long lasting hardware, water based lacquers and a TUSQ nut (synthetic bone) to ensure an animal free, cruelty free, environmentally friendly product that sounds as good as it looks.
He is also fitted with Evo gold fret wire, a copper alloy that contains no nickel, as well as Japanese made GOTOH bridge and tuners. He features a three way switch and  single push pull knob.

All this means that he has beautiful resonance and tone, so what better way is there to show it off than by fitting him with hand wound PAF Humbucker style pickups, made to vintage specifications.

The utmost care and attention to detail in his crafting has been maintained to ensure enjoyable and long lasting playability.

But don't worry, we're already hard at work on our next series of guitars.
