aPurla at the Byron Bay Guitar Festival 2019

We really love Byron Bay, it's laid back, it's beautiful and it has some great beaches.

But it is the soul of Byron Bay that keeps calling us back, it has that great feeling of community with the perfect hippie vibe.

So of course when we heard that Byron Bay was having its own Guitar festival on 12-13th October we knew we had to check it out.

Now in its third year and held at the iconic Byron Bay Brewery, with performances from some of the best musos in Byron, and some of the best up and coming musicians on the scene right now it was a really great vibe, and an awesome festival. We absolutely loved being part of this years celebration.

We certainly enjoyed showing off our newest collection of instruments at such a cool venue, and it was a real treat to meet some other local makers, swap ideas and stories, and to see what they are bringing to the music industry.

Everyone we met was wonderful and friendly, and you all had such fantastic things to say about what we are doing. Many people found it very hard to put down our beautiful new Bunya pine acoustic guitar, and we loved hearing you give song to our dreams and ideas. It was heart warming to find so many like minded people at this festival. And our hot tip to takeaway; We learnt that you can make more friends with a flat car battery than you can without.

Pictures say more than words, so get an eyeful won't ya?!?
